Lomi Lomi is different from other forms of massage as the client lies directly on the vinyl of the table and rather than being covered by towels, you are covered by a sarong, leaving most of your body exposed while still maintaining your modesty and the sacred intent of the massage. This allows for the underbody and full body strokes, which are an integral part of Lomi Lomi, to be performed unhindered.
